Terms of Use
Last updated: May 16, 2026
These terms apply when you use hrmechanical.ca or request HVAC service from HR Heat & Cool Mechanical Inc.(“we”, “us”) through this website. By using the website or submitting a service request, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
HR Heat & Cool Mechanical Inc. is a Toronto-based heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning contractor. We provide residential and small commercial repair, installation, and maintenance services in Toronto and the surrounding service area.
Quotes and pricing
Any pricing, estimate, or quote we provide on this website, by phone, or by email is a good-faith estimate based on the information you give us. The final price is confirmed in writing after our technician completes an on-site inspection of your equipment. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise.
Promotional offers (for example, a waived diagnostic fee) are subject to the terms posted with the offer and may have eligibility restrictions (e.g., postal code, residential vs. commercial, service window). If you don’t meet the posted conditions, the promotional pricing does not apply.
Service appointments
Appointment windows are scheduled in good faith but may shift based on emergency calls, traffic, parts availability, or other operational factors. We’ll keep you informed if your appointment needs to be adjusted.
You’re responsible for making sure an adult who can authorize work is present at the service address during the scheduled window and that our technician has safe, lawful access to the equipment.
Warranty
Workmanship and any parts we install are covered by the warranty terms communicated in writing as part of your service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on equipment we install are passed through to you as the equipment owner.
Licensing and insurance
Our gas-fitting work is performed by technicians licensed under the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) in Ontario. We carry commercial general liability insurance. Proof of license and insurance is available on request before work begins.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of this website or any service we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the service at issue. We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Ontario or Canadian law (including liability for personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Website use
You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, that attempts to reverse-engineer or scrape it at scale, or that misrepresents your identity to obtain service or quotes under false pretenses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute arising from these terms or from services we provide will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
