24/7 Emergency Service
Emergency Furnace Repair in Toronto
No heat right now? Call us. A real person answers day or night, and we are TSSA-licensed for gas work.

Before You Call, Check Three Things
Sometimes a no-heat call turns out to be something simple you can check safely in under a minute. It costs nothing to look:
- The thermostat. Set to heat, set above room temperature, and batteries not dead.
- The furnace switch. It looks like a light switch on the wall or the joist next to the furnace. They get knocked off, especially in a finished basement.
- The breaker. Check the panel for a tripped furnace circuit.
If all three are fine, call us. And then leave the furnace alone — repeatedly resetting a unit that is locking out on a safety switch can turn a cheap repair into an expensive one.
What It Usually Is
Many no-heat calls come down to a repairable fault such as a flame sensor, igniter, pressure switch, or blocked condensate drain. We test the system, explain the fault, and quote the repair before recommending replacement.
For the full symptom-by-symptom breakdown, see furnace repair.
If It Smells Like Gas, Do Not Call Us First
Leave the house, then call Enbridge Gas or 911 from outside. Do not operate light switches, appliances, or your phone indoors. Gas leaks are a utility emergency, not an HVAC appointment — we will handle the furnace afterwards.
The same applies to a carbon monoxide alarm: get everyone out first, then call. A cracked heat exchanger is one of the few furnace faults where we will tell you the unit has to be replaced rather than repaired.
Emergency Service Across West Toronto
We are based in the west end and respond fastest across Wallace Emerson, the Junction Triangle, Roncesvalles, and High Park. We also service most of Toronto and east Etobicoke — call us if you are outside that core list.

Common questions
Emergency furnace questions Toronto homeowners ask us
Do you actually answer the phone at night?
Yes. A real person answers day or night, and during cooling and heating season we typically offer same-day service across our west-Toronto area. If we miss your call, we return it as soon as possible.
Is there an after-hours surcharge?
Our diagnostic is a flat $150 to inspect and diagnose your system, and it's waived 100% if you go ahead with the repair. Anything beyond that is quoted before we start work.
What should I do while I wait?
Check that the thermostat is set to heat and the batteries aren't dead, check the furnace switch on the wall or joist beside it, and check the breaker. Then leave it alone - repeatedly resetting a furnace that's locking out on a safety switch can turn a small repair into a bigger one.
Do you service condos or apartments?
On the residential side we service houses and townhouses only - detached, semi-detached, and row houses. We don't take on condos or apartment buildings. Condo amenity spaces are handled through our commercial service.
